STRESS FREE MANAGING OF STRESSED CHILDREN & TEENAGERS IN PARENTING

Parents' child related stress extends to coping with children's. Child stress is very common.

Pregnancy rates high on the official stress-scale and mothers sometimes suffer also 'baby blues'. But, also, parents have to be alert to child stress symptoms and cope with their children’s stress –as well as to avoid becoming stressful themselves in doing so. This is common in parenting.

Parents did not use to have advice on child stress. National and international help and guidance to parents in child rearing and welfare only became available after the second world war. Parts of Africa and Asia entered the 21st century with help mostly, often only, from religious and charitable organizations. In western countries the UNICEF’s international efforts only gained generality in practice in the 1950s (when it was first theorised by Selye as the body’s [i.e., physiological] reaction when threat or danger is felt -a general adaptation syndrome which exceptionally at its most extreme is capable of leading to a nervous breakdown) . There had not been any parenting advice on child stress. The parents' job in dealing with child stress is not easy.

>> This is the gist of the generally agreed suggestions on child stress which may help...

A baby is born with fears: fear of falling and fear of noise. A child, right from the beginning, is susceptible to stress in those respects. This continues until the baby gets generally used to noise and learns to walk.

Young children may not have the vocabulary to express their fears. Teenagers feel misunderstood or have other sounding boards. In parenting these make a child’s stress, or the symptoms of child stress, difficult to notice.

Additionally, some child stress symptoms are unrecognisably mild.

Stress is caused, mostly, by a feeling of being unable to cope. This is so also in child stress. This feeling often arises from a situation the child is not used to and develops into child stress. Assure stressed children, and help.

Mild child stress also has symptoms. It may be in the form of irritability or mood changes on the part of the child. This may indicate lack of protein or carbohydrates (potatoes, pulses, sugar -fruits). Lack of these often causes mild stress. A stressed child may be lacking those.

Withdrawal indicates severe child stress. The stressed child may be being bullied.

Child stress symptoms vary as the child grows up. Being difficult indicates unsatisfied creativity. Enable difficult children creativity. Obsession or compulsion often is a guilt feeling. It may tempt to guilt transference. Suggest symbolic gestures, deeds to rid of it. These kinds of child stress are more suffered by children after they cease to be babies.

Babies dislike being alone and my suffer child stress. Be within sight as their protector.

Similarly, it causes the younger child stress if the child is alone in an unfamiliar environment. Accompany a young child to a new environment. Stay with the child, if possible, at first until the child is reasonably familiar with it.

Children’s fear of the dark is because one can best concentrate then. The child's imagination comes into play about a horror movie or scary story. Teach the child to slightly open his eyes and concentrate on something in the bedroom. A night light helps reduce such child stress.

If separation or re-marriage has taken place, that may be the cause of the child’s stress surfacing in the form of fear of the dark. Talk to the child, explain, assure.

(But, if the child says that he can't see well enough in the dark, it may be night blindness often caused by vitamin 'A' deficiency [eggs, cheese, whole milk -or cooked carrots]) .

Also pubescence related guilt can cause child stress. Assure the child that it is normal and part of growing up.

Many teenagers suffer from child stress. Be a good listener to the teenager sufferers of stress. Show that you do understand. Don't talk down, do not make light of teenagers’ dating problems. Teenagers like to be taken seriously and to be trusted.

Child stress is caused, both, the younger children and the teenagers also by what they regard as failure. On achievement oriented tasks, it is important in parenting to ensure to explain a child or that it is okay to try again.

These are the views of the experts on child stress. In parenting bear them in mind.

>> Coping with child stress may cause stress also to parents. Parents can not as easily

Introduction

“And when the female infant (Al-Maw\'udah) buried alive is questioned, for what sin she was killed!” (Surah 81, al takwir: 8-9). On judgmental day, fathers will be asked for which reason they abused their daughters. Islamic teachings ended those cruel pre-Islamic practices of female infanticide “wa\'d” which was common in dark ages. However, child abuse has for a long time been recorded in literature, art and science in many parts of the world. The historical record is also filled with reports of unkempt, weak and malnourished children cast out by families to fend for themselves and of children who have been physically, sexually, and emotional abused. In recent years, countries witnessed a movement towards child abuse addressing and prevention.

This concept paper aims at portraying the different types of child abuse, manifestations and consequences. Different types of child abuse are caused by many factors; those factors will be discussed also. The prevention approaches by family and health service providers will by highlighted at the end of this paper with the therapeutic approaches. Most of the available studies are concerned with aspects of physical, sexual, and/or emotional abuse, and therefore the discussion and recommendations would have the most validity when applied to such situations.

Anyone under age 18 who\'s been neglected or abused by a parent or someone responsible for his care is considered a victim of child abuse. In statistics for 2002, the Department of Health and Human Services revealed that: about 896,000 American children were victims of abuse and neglect. Of all abused children, 60.5% suffered neglect; 18.6%, physical abuse; and 9.9%, sexual abuse. Some experienced more than one type. An estimated 1,400 children died from abuse or neglect; 76.1% of them were under age 4. Parents were the most common abusers. Although these numbers on child abuse are appalling, many authorities believe they\'re conservative. Because abuse occurs within the family and often involves young preverbal children, many cases are never discovered or reported. Particularly, 63% of the participants were identified as victims of domestic violence on Karachi Domestic Violence Screening Scale. 36% of the victims were males and 64% of the victims were females. 35% of the victims reported facing physical abuse, 52% of the victims reported psychological abuse and 30% of the victims reported sexual abuse from their relatives. 60% of the victims had depression and 67% of the victims had anxiety. Another Study by medical students of AKU (class of 1996) in a sample of 176 children, it showed that 27% of them had suffered physical abuse.

Child abuse crosses all ethnic, racial, cultural, and socioeconomic lines. There is clear evidence that child abuse is a global problem. “It occurs in a variety of forms and is deeply rooted in cultural, economic and social practices” (Bethea, L, 1999). Many parents who abuse their children are immature and impulsive, with low self-esteem. Sometimes family is isolated within the community and one or both parents may be a substance abuser. Environmental stressors that can trigger abuse include work problems, poverty, unemployment, illness of family members, marital tensions, and domestic violence between adults. The child consequences lead to consider child prevention as the priority in primary health care system. “The short-term consequences of abuse are the physical and behavioral indicators that led to suspect abuse in the first place in health care system”.

The role of the community, religious leaders and school teachers is vital in countering the exploitation of children, but, unfortunately, there is often ambivalence among people regarding such issues. So that there is a need to nurses to sensitize parents and teachers on the crucial issues around child abuse and mobilize them to form networks to protect children. Typically, neglect comes to light when a teacher reports a child who has poor hygiene and inappropriate clothing, appears listless, frequently complains of hunger, or frequently misses school without explanation. Neighbors may report a child being left unsupervised, or a health care provider may report that a child is missing appointments for medical care. As a health care professional, nurse role is reporting child abuse and neglect, especially when a nurse discovers it during home visitation. “Nurses who work with children and families in various health care, education, and social service settings can play a key role in stopping neglect and abuse before they begin, by promoting primary prevention procedures”. ( Kathleen ,2004)

Body

The International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect recently compared definitions of abuse from 58 countries and found some commonality in what was considered abusive.

For a parent, nothing is more exciting than recognizing that your child has a special talent. Perhaps you heard your child playing away on the piano and realized that he or she actually has a great ear for music, or maybe your son or daughter wrote a short story that was so creative, it put many published authors to shame. Whatever the case may be, when you finally realize that your child has a special talent, you'll need to encourage it to grow as much as possible so that your child can bloom to their full potential.

But what if you don't know the first thing about helping your child to cultivate and develop their exceptional talent? You don't have to be a childcare expert in order to encourage your child to reach his or her full potential; just follow these tips and your child will be able to fully realize his or her special talent!

1. Find a mentor in the community with the same talent that your son or daughter is displaying. For example, if your daughter is exceptional at volleyball, find a coach or athlete nearby who will be able to play role model to your child. Apart from parents, role models have a profound influence on the development of a special talent, and will be able to best encourage your child's talent or skill to flourish.

2. Depending on your child's special talent, enroll him or her in a program specifically designed for that talent. For example, if your son is academically gifted, ask his school if there is a designated program for gifted students. If your school doesn't have this kind of program, not to worry: there are plenty of learning centers and tutors who are available to academically challenge your child in order to keep his or her mind sharp.

3. Additionally, if your child displays a creative talent, get him or her enrolled in community programs that will help that talent to flourish and grow. There are lots of after-school and community programs which teach art, creative writing, dance, theater, etc. to children for free of charge. Let your child's creativity roam free in these programs, and you'll see his or her talent blossom.

4. Make sure to get your child's teacher actively involved in encouraging your child's special talent. For example, if your son or daughter displays an exceptional ability to write, set aside private time with his or her teacher and ask if special assignments can be created for your child. That way, your child will be able to further hone his or her skills without being enrolled in a gifted program.

5. Create a supportive environment at home where your child can feel free to display his or her talent. For example, if your child is academically gifted, create a quiet study space to encourage maximum productivity; if your child is artistically or athletically inclined, encourage activities after school that will allow him or her to practice their talent. Your child will feel love and appreciation when you're 100% supportive of their talent, no matter how messy or noisy it may be!

Above all of these tips, be sure to praise and compliment your child for his or her special ability. For example, if your child paints you a fantastic picture or writes a song, praise his or her creative thinking and imagination. Praise is essential for producing the kind of confidence that encourages the blossoming of talent - so get ready to encourage your little Picasso or Dickens so that he or she will be able to realize the full extent of his or her special ability!

Every day between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm in busy shopping centers all over the country, young children are separated from their parents. Usually its because the child has seen something interesting and decided to go and take a closer look or they have simply gotten separated in a crowded area.

If you have ever been unlucky enough to encounter this problem while you've been out and about. You'll know that the instant you realize your child is missing, time seems to stand still and you completely freeze. The hairs on the back of your neck stand up, your heart starts pounding, your hands start to shake and your stomach begins to churn. Every passing second feels like a life time, then after standing there motionless for what feels like an hour the panic sets in...

You start to frantically pace up and down the store searching high and low, continually shouting your child's name and asking random people questions. Have you seen my little boy? He is about this tall with blonde curly hair and blue eyes. He is wearing a red jacket and blue trousers. This usually continues until your child is found. By this time you have worked yourself into such a state that you don't know weather to give them a big hug or scream at them for leaving your side.

More often than not after experiencing such an emotional episode your day is ruined. You try to forget about it and carry on like it never happened but all-sorts of silly things begin to run through your head. You start asking yourself questions like, why did I take my eyes off him? What if he had been picked up by someone? What if he got seriously injured? What if I never found him again?

"What would happen if you are out one day and your child runs off again, only this time they can't be found! Could they help someone to locate you?"

Every day in the UK around 300 children go missing. Thankfully the majority of these children are found within minutes, but there are some children who go missing for hours, days even weeks in some cases. Many of which could have been reunited with their family within minutes if they had learned the answers to a few simple questions.

1. What is your name?
2. What is your address?
3. Do you have a telephone number I can ring?
4. What is your mummy's name?
5. What is your daddy's name?

Recently I've seen a few reports on the news and in the papers about missing children who had been found but could not tell anyone their names or even their parents names, let alone their address and telephone number. This makes it almost impossible for the authorities to locate the child's family. Just think what these fail to realize how important it is to help their children memorise the answers to these everyday questions.

Through no fault of their own these children have to go through an extremely frightening experience which could haunt them for the rest of their life. All because their parents fail to realize how important it is to help them memorise the answers to these everyday questions.

"These questions are the child's equivalent to a drivers licence. You would never think about leaving home without yours, so why would you let your most cherished possession leave home without theirs?"

How well would your child do, can they answer any of these questions? I challenge you to ask them! I bet a lot of you will be surprised by the outcome. If you do ask them and your child doesn't do so well I would strongly recommend you start teaching them before it is too late. One of the easiest ways to teach your child is through photo recognition e.g. show your child a photo of a you and say for instance, this is your mummy her name is...............

Once your child is able to answer all of the above questions you should start teaching them how to use their new found knowledge to help someone locate you. You should explain to your child that if they ever get separated from you they should approach certain people for assistance e.g. police person, security guard or shop assistant and tell them that they are lost. A lot of parents also recommend teaching your child to approach another parent (someone with a child) if any of the above cannot be found.

Explain to your child that this person will ask them their name, your name, their address and telephone number in order to find you. When you are out with your child and you see any of the persons listed above point them out and get your child to tell you their profession. A little role play game is great for preparing your child for this situation e.g. you play the security guard and your child pretends to be lost. Run through all of the questions then switch and you pretend to be lost. Children love it when

Child Support Laws

It is most important to find out about Child Support laws in your State. Afteer a divorce, it is imperative that the children are taken care of - in most cases, one income is inadequate, therefore it is necessary to file for child support. It is the responsibility of the Judge to make child support reasonable by taking into account what the parents earn, and taking into consideration the expenses of the child. These needs increase as the child grows and education expenses arise. Refusal to pay will lead to prosecution. The courts direct the amount, and this must be paid. You will be allowed visitation rights when you pay child support.

Child Support Expenses And What It Is Used For

The primary duty of parents is towards their children. One parent will pay to support them, and the other will need to use it to meet all the expenses involved in raising the child. More often than not, the one who does not spend too much time with the children pays support - it may be either parent. The issues involved in the marriage are of no concern, as the primary focus is on the child. The committment of the parent is the main concern. In the case of abuse, child support will have to be paid, and there will not be custody.

It is better to look into child support at the time of divorce, as you will need to know how much you will be required to pay - the choice is not yours. Payments are required to be paid on time, otherwise a jail
sentence is imminent. The child support is for shelter, food and clothes and maybe school needs. After 18, you are not required to pay, but in certain States it is required if the child is in college.

You will need to know exactly how much to pay. Failure to pay will lead to a jail sentence, or your debt will be paid by auctioning your stuff. Your property can also be taken by the Government, and the proceeds used to pay your support. It would be best to consult a lawyer to fix the amount that you can afford. The usual amouhnt is around $200 - 300 per child every month.

You will need to think of ways to supplement your income, possibly a second job, so that you can pay your child support regularly. If you are employed, it will automatically come out of your paycheck. Any extravagance on your part will have to be curtailed, as child support is top priority, and you will not want to face the repercussions.

You need to understand that child support is expensive and in order to do the right thing by your child, and not get into any unecessary hassles, you would do well to get yourself a good lawyer who will give you
the right advice.

Motion sickness is caused from crossed signals involving iyes, ears, skin receptons and muscles. This sickness usually occurs when traveling by motorized vehicles, airplanes, boats, cars, or trains. While traveling one will feel sick to their stomach.

Takin g a closer look at what happens to a child's system when motion sickness is involved, we find different parts of the body will send many conflicting signals to the brain. The many things the eyes see are sent to the brain in motion. Children's joint sensory and muscle receptors will transfer signals about movement of museles, positions of the body and which parts of the body is stationary.

The inner ear canal are equiped with a fluid which senses motion in any direction, forward, backward, up, down, side ways and circular. As the brain recieves these signals, it then tries to form a picture imitating the badies movements and position at any given time. But when the brain isn't able to draw its picture or make a connection with the information provided, the child will suffer motion sickness.

As an example: If, while riding in a car, a child is reading a book; the eyes will register the stationary book. However; the skin receptors and the ears will be sending the signal of movement to the brain. The different signals the brain is receiving, so many different peices of information that it becomes jumbled and confused. This then, in turn, causes the child to experience dizziness, upset stuomach and may even become tired.

With all these syptoms the child may become sick enough to throw up. As a parent it is a good idea to be prepared for such occurances while traveling. If for any reason the child is experiencing anxiety or fear; This will increase the chances of the child becoming sick while in motion.

Some steps to take for motion sickness prevention is to position the child in a forward postion. He or she should not face backwards. This helps the ears and eyes to signal the brain positively. Reading, video games or any stationary activity should be minimal or omitted.

While traveling on a plane or boat always try to look at the horizon, if your child must look out the windows. The child who experiences motion sickness, should always concentrate on things in a distance and are also in motion. Avoid looking at stationary items, this will cause the eyes confussion and the brain to get the wrong signals.

It will also help your child to sit in an area where the movement is the least noticed. Sitting close to the center is an ideal place. In an airplane, the middle aisle is the best position. On a boat being in the center not at the front or back is the best spot and the least sick he or she will feel.

If, inspite of the steps taken to help your child fail there are over the counter motion sickness medicine, but it is best to consult with your doctor. there may be a medical reason your child is having this struggle, such as an inner ear defect. He will also check other areas of the child's body that connect with motion sickness. He may be able to recommend an alternitive to medicine such as a plessure bracelet.

Carrying a sick bag and allowing extra time for travel can help. Giving the child opportunities to walk off the sickness before more traveling. The little things done can help to make travel more pleasant for your child.

1. Time limits: Also known as limitation periods, these are deadlines after which you CANNOT advance your child's claim for compensation or after which it is more difficult to do so.

Examples:

a) Your insurance adjuster may tell you that your child has until his or her 20th birthday to sue. This may be technically true, if you want to forgo any claim by adult family members for care guidance and companionship lost as a result of the accident. For some cases, these can be large amounts!

b) Some claims against municipalities (Cities, Towns, etc.) are subject to an incredible 10-day limitation period. You will want to speak to a lawyer right away to see if this limit applies in your child's case.

2) Insurance companies are not your child's friend when it comes to an accident case.

They may be pleasant, but do not be fooled. We have encountered many parents who were dealing with the insurance adjuster directly and who were about to sign settlement documents when they realized they should get legal advice.

What happened? We advised them that the settlements proposed by the insurance companies were inadequate and would have badly under-compensated the injured child. You and your injured child have interests that conflict directly with the insurance companies. The insurer and the adjuster have a single mission: to maximize profits for the insurer by controlling costs.

Your interests are totally different: you want to make sure your child injured in Ontario in a car accident or other type of accident receives all the financial security, insurance benefits, medical and rehabilitation coverage and compensation for future lost income and earnings which he or she is entitled to get. This compensation includes money for pain and suffering, loss of enjoyment of life, disability, scars, burns, fractured bones, brain or head injuries, spinal cord injury, paraplegia or quadriplegia.

An injury lawyer committed to representing children can help you deal fairly and negotiate properly with an insurance company.

What does this mean? For starters, apart from the police and medical support, you should not describe the accident to anyone, especially an insurance adjuster, without speaking to a lawyer first.

Will an adjuster ask you for a statement? You bet. Just say "No thank you. Not at this time." Even if they show up at the hospital or at your home, it is okay to decline. You may feel awkward saying no, many people do. However, a few awkward moments are much better than compromising your child's case.

3) If you wait, it is a lot more difficult for your lawyer to gather the required evidence.

When a child is injured in a car accident, the best evidence to show how the accident happened is collected right after the accident, for example, skid marks, crash debris and the vehicles themselves.

Did you know that some cars have "black boxes" similar to an airplane? If it is not too late, we can get a court order to preserve the black box before the car goes to the wrecking yard.

Think about a slip and fall accident that happens on the ice in February. It will be much more difficult to piece the evidence together in June than in the days surrounding the collision.

Witnesses are another important consideration. They have to be found-- which is easier sooner rather than later. They also have to be interviewed, ideally before the insurance company reaches them.

Perhaps you wonder if you can manage these steps on your own. And maybe you can. But is that the best use of your time when you have an injured child to case for? An experienced lawyer will hire the investigators and engineers necessary to collect evidence that could make or break your child's case.

4) Find out now, not later, how insurance companies and their lawyers can use your child's medical records against your child.

By speaking to an experienced child injury lawyer you will learn how to talk to your child's treating physicians. For example, many parents are so relieved that their child is walking and talking after a serious accident that they overlook other behavioral or emotional changes which could signal post-traumatic stress syndrome.

A pediatrician or family doctor may be looking for physical symptoms too and may not notice your child's other symptoms. The result? If it is not written in the medical records from early on, the insurance company may suggest that any of these issues are not related to the accident and the child may miss an important assessment by a pediatric neuropsychologist or neurologist.

In the past few years, child safety in cars has progressed greatly. As of March, 2008 Congress is looking into passing a bill making it mandatory that all children up to the age of eight years old be placed in a appropriate safety seats whenever they are riding in a vehicle. For the present, most states require that children up to the age of five be placed in these safety seats. To purchase an appropriate child's car seat, a parent needs to find one that is designed for the child's age and weight.

For infants, there are infant-only safety seats that are designed for babies up to one year of age. These seats are designed to face backwards and come individually or can be part of a stroller system. Most models have a carrying handle that makes it easier to carry the infant to and from the vehicle while remaining in the seat. Some models come with a base that the seat snaps into which enables you to leave it right in the car. When installing these seat, make sure that the seat belt is put through it properly and that the belt is tight to hold the seat securely in place.

There are also toddler seats available. There are many varieties of these seats available. Some seats may be used front-facing or rear-facing, although most experts advise the child seat to remain rear-facing as long as the child's weight and height permit it. There are front-facing seats only. When using any seat in the front-facing position you should again make sure that the seat belt is looped through it properly and also makes sure that the seat is tilted back so the child's head is resting against the back of it and is not loping forward. There are combination forward-facing/booster seats that have a harness that fit over the child's shoulders and usually attaches between his legs. This harness helps to hold the child in place in the seat. As a child grows, this type of seat can also be used as a booster seat that the child sits in with a seat belt holding him in place so that you are able to get longer use out it.

Travel vests are also available for children between 20 to 168 pounds and are useful in vehicles that only have the lap-style seat belts.

For school-aged children, regular booster seats are available. These seats ensure that the child is sitting high enough in the vehicle for the existing shoulder and lap seat belts to fit properly. This ensures that your child can ride safely just like you do.

There are several ways to tell when your child is ready to move into the more adult-like booster seat. You should keep close track of the weight and height requirements of your present safety seat. Once your child has reached either of these measurements it is time to move him into a bigger seat. You should also consider a larger seat when his shoulders surpass the top harness slots or when his ears have reached the top of the back of your existing seat.

Child safety seats have proven to be effective protection for children in case of a car accident. If the seat is installed properly and is the appropriate type for your child's age, you can rest comfortably knowing that your child is as safe as possible.

Marriage is a legal relationship that changes the legal status of both parties, even though it starts out as a personal and emotional commitment. Thus, we see the prenuptial marriage contracts that may come into being between two people that supposedly have undying love for each other. If the legal rights or obligations are not set out in writing, many marriage partners often do not know their rights.

Persons who have decided to obtain a divorce have basically two procedural avenues available to them. The two options are an uncontested proceeding or a contested proceeding. If there are children and the couple has accumulated assets during the marriage, do not be surprised when the divorce seems to turn into a long drawn out and frustrating process. Remember, lawyers are normally paid on an hourly basis.

No matter what you do, the children will be forever affected by the divorce, however amicable it may be. Of course, the nastier things become, the more the children are exposed to the ugly side of a marriage break-up. Depending on the ages of the children, they have probably already picked up the animosity between the parents towards one another.

In some cases, a child will adopt, perhaps unknowingly, that animosity one parent directs at the other parent. In the best or even uncontested divorce settings, where both parents seem to get along and not argue too much, the children's emotions will still be pulled between their parents.

When people end up going to court, the losing party is almost always unhappy and they are often prone to look for ways to violate the letter or spirit of any judgment made by the court. They may even be justified in that the court may have been in error. Such as giving custody to a parent that has mental, drug, or criminal problems. But remember that the court has the last say concerning custody issues and child support questions.

Child custody can be quite a hotly contested issue. It usually is one of the most contested and highly emotional issues in a divorce, leading to a multitude of arguments and disputes that can span many years after a divorce is finalized. Child custody is one of the most sensitive and emotional issues in the divorce process.

Legal child custody refers to your rights as a parent to make decisions about your child's health, well-being and education. Primary physical custody refers to your right as a parent to have the child living in your home. Then a preliminary child support amount can be calculated, but not necessarily agreed upon.

Often there are many issues with respect to the information required to be considered. Many parents believe that child support should somehow be adjusted to account for time the child spends with one parent or the other. After all, they reason, when the child is with that parent, he or she is in charge of meeting the child's needs and if the non-custodial parent has the child for an entire week in the summer, there shouldn't be any child support being paid for that week.

However, this is the wrong assumption. It doesn't matter if the non-custodial parent spends one day a week or 7 days a week with the child, child support is not affected. Child support is a set amount that only fluctuates when it is increased or decreased by the court. The amount of time each of you spends with your child does not affect support payments, unless you have a complete change in custody, or go to a shared parenting plan where you each have equal time with your child.

The way you share medical, educational, and other expenses also does not change based on your parenting schedule, and if you are the one that takes your child to the doctor and the other parent is the one who is responsible for medical costs, he or she should reimburse you for the expense.

Different states treat child custody cases differently. The court has its own rules that they follow in making custody decisions. A New Hampshire child custody lawyer is the one that handles custody cases.

They make sure that every child deserves the best guardian that will guide him as he grows up. He has the right to a good family and a good parent. A New Hampshire child custody lawyer sees to it that the relationship between the parent and the child is mutual.

A parent should be able to provide the child with proper guidance, affection, schooling and love which is the most important of all. However, financial issues about child custody are the main factors that affect the case.

If a parent can give all the nurturing and emotional needs of the child, but is not financially equipped, he might not get the custody that he is fighting for because the other party would always claim that he cannot give the child a fine future and good health.

A parent who is financially poor may not be able to win a case that easily. If he is eager to win the child custody, he might as well look for a job first then after that, he can still claim for child custody. A New Hampshire child custody lawyer will treat this matter fairly and wisely.

A safe environment is what a child needs to cope up with all the things that have happened to his surroundings. A New Hampshire child custody lawyer observes the kind of environment that the child will live in because if it is not a proper place for a child's growth, they might be forced to move if the parent wants to sustain the custody of his child.

The developmental needs of a child are important for a New Hampshire child custody lawyer. a New Hampshire child custody lawyer makes it to a point that a child will get to meet both of his parents be it at present or in the near future.

He has the right to know his parents so that he can try to see himself and if he is in the right age to decide, he can be able to choose properly according to his own willingness. A New Hampshire child custody lawyer will always suggest good education by enrolling the child in a good school which he can easily adjust with and make friends with.

This is important because the child's future can be molded by education. A school should be able to bring out his talents and potentials and develop self confidence. If a parent cannot give his child proper education, a New Hampshire child custody lawyer will have to provide solutions and look for probable relief.

A New Hampshire child custody lawyer chooses a parent who has a positive attitude and a positive relationship with the child. A child will always feel comfortable with his mother if they have that closeness. The only problem is when the child possesses a good relationship to both parties and will find it very hard to choose.

In cases like this, a New Hampshire child custody lawyer handles the case. Whatever the result of the case is, a New Hampshire child custody lawyer is sure that it is the wisest decision and judgment.
